Controlling of programmable analogue circuit
Sobotka, Josef ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This work deals with the design of the control software for the programmable analog circuit adjustable by means of a computer via the serial interface for the computer, as well as for programming the microcontroller. In addition, analyses the internal structure of programmable analog circuit on which it is proposed to further control, design of printed circuit boards for final programming and test equipment and measurement of the basic parameters of the circuit (transmission and phase frequency characteristics of parts and units).
Mobile applications development for remote control of instrumentation
Macek, Michal ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The presented work describes the growing trend of using mobile devices to control laboratory instruments and displaying of measured data. The main objective is the application development for mobile devices, which will allow to remotely control and measure with laboratory instruments. The practical part is focused to programming mobile application which will be able by using the local network to connect multiple laboratory instruments, setting them for different types of measurements and then display measured data.
Analysis of data transport in converged network
Menšík, David ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with data transmission applications in the converged network, focusing on the WiFi network IEEE 802.11. The theoretical part describes the cause and nature of converged networks. One chapter is devoted to a description of IEEE 802.11, which is next to different standards and options described architecture, coordination and access network QoS solution to that standard. The research is based on custom design converged networks, and WiFi elements in the environment of graphic simulation software OPNET Modeler. In the proposed network was also simulated the operation of services such as voice, video conferencing, FTP and HTTP streaming. Results of simulation data traffic in the network are then analyzed. At the Conclusion of the thesis, is in OPNET Modeller program created the role of laboratory. The essence here is the comparison of operating a converged network, with and without quality support services.
Implementation of multi-purpose server based on WINDOWS
Depiak, Petr ; Kouřil, Jiří (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
This thesis puts brain to the pieces of knowledge of the network services which are occurred in the server systems. These services are related to data storing, transport and data interpretation. Basically there are transport services which are used by FTP and SMB protocols. These protocols define them generally and their security too. Next section describes principles and application possibilities of electronic mail. It is based on SMTP, POP3 and IMAP protocols. The important part of this thesis is the World Wide Web service exploiting the HTTP protocol. It also refers to creation of dynamic presentation of electronic document by using the MySQL relational database and PHP script language. Practical part goes out of the theoretical part discussed above and all services are implemented on the MS Windows 2003 Server EE R2 platform. The main scope is oriented to the highest usage of data security within the available software. Other part presents the introduction to hosting of the Novell eDirectory service. It is practically applied on the MS Windows platform. This application also includes the administration of eDirecroty service by using the standard tool. This tool allows the administration though the web interface.
Traffic Management in UMTS Network
Menšík, David ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is describing UMTS network, architecture and especially maintaining Quality of Services in this network. Specifically is focused on operation control management in UMTS network. Practical part contains description of settings for UMTS network with QoS and following operational simulation. This simulation was performed in OPNET Modeler v.14.5. Others simulations were performed with different settings of QoS. Results of three simulations were compared and by that operational dependence on QoS settings was verified.
Proposal for implementation of SQL database as means to improve of in-house communication
Bednář, Martin ; Tofel, Otakar (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis is aimed to project an intranet electronic notice-board for simplification and improved effectiveness of in-house communication via Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. This thesis contains techniques used for realization of the project and techniques for its implementation in the company.
Complex instruction manual to measuring station HIOKI 3390
Pekárek, Dominik ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with power analyzer HIOKI 3390. Thesis contains settings, basic operations and functions of the instrument. At the end of the thesis there is a representative protocol, which was measured with Hioki 3390.
Support of Snapshot and Rollback of Configuration Files in Fedora
Včelák, Jan ; Rogalewicz, Adam (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with current possibilities of creating backups and versioning of configuration files in GNU/Linux operating system. Based on the findings a new tool for Fedora distribution was designed, implemented, and tested. The aim of the tool is to keep the benefits of existing solutions and to eliminate their drawbacks. In addition, it brings some new and useful features like synchronization with remote server and integration with other management tools.
Evaluation of wheelchair adjustments and their impact on proper propulsion pattern upper extremities and sitting posture in patients with spinal cord lesions
Dáňová, Petra ; Pfeiffer, Jan (advisor) ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (referee)
Title: Evaluation of wheelchair adjustments and their impact on proper propulsion pattern upper extremities and sitting posture in patients with spinal cord lesions. Objectives: The objective of this work was to evaluate the adjustments of wheelchair and to determine their impact on the work of the upper limbs and posture while sitting. This work was done on a group of patients with spinal lesions with their own wheelchairs. Another objective was to assess how education of proper propulsion pattern and form and type of a grip of handrim affects the correct propulsion pattern. Methods: In the group of 26 patients with spinal cord injuries in different levels of the spinal cord, I tested the adjusments of wheelchair, in particular the centre of gravity and maximum seat height from the ground. I also investigated what education on correct propulsion pattern the patients received, and observed any home-made adjustments to handrim, as well as patients' techniques of handrim grip. Finally, I examined how the subjects drove his/her wheelchair. During all the tests, I recorded video and photo documentation. The results were statistically evaluated using the Fisher test. Results: Despite the fact that only a small group was investigated, I showed the effect of wheelchair seatings on the correct posture. I...
